GALLIVAN, Frances M. (Honan)-A lifelong resident of Winthrop, passed away on July 15, 2012, at 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Gallivan. Loving mother of Paul J. and Laura Gallivan of Milton, James R. and Catherine Gallivan of Winthrop, Jean M. and Thomas M. Curtis, Jr. of Medford, Joseph A. Jr. and Anne Gallivan of Winthrop, and John F. Gallivan of Winthrop. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., Winthrop, on Thursday, July 19th, at 9 AM , followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John The Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Winthrop Cemetery. Frances was a former member of the Winthrop Catholic Women’s Club and St. John The Evangelist Development Committee. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. John The Evangelist Parish, 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop, MA 02152.
