Sylvia “Sally” DeRosa (DeChristoforo) a long-time Malden resident died peacefully at Meadow View Nursing Home in North Reading. She was 88.
Sally was born and raised in Charlestown, the daughter of the late Daniel and Madeline DeChristoforo. A Malden resident for most of her adult life, Sally was devoted to her family and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
The loving wife of the late Charles DeRosa, she was a devoted mother to Charlene DeRosa and Arlene Dascher and her husband Ken, all of Winthrop. She leaves her loving grandchildren: Jay, Diana, George and Kris. She also leaves 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family may call Saturday, July 7th from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial offered in St. Joseph Church, Malden. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
